Based on the philosophy of this center, we aim to develop researchers who are internally motivated to study global issues, enlightened concepts about the world that should be introduced to Japan, and traditional Japanese ideas that should be spread around the world, so that they can spread the circle of happiness beyond the boundaries of research and inquiry activities.

Specifically, we aim to foster deep insight using a wide range of knowledge, provide logical and constructive discussion, and support the pursuit of connecting inner motivation to society. To this end, the Center requires course participants to have the following qualities:

- People who project their inner motivations onto society and strive to realize the person they want to be.

・People who can challenge themselves to find creative solutions to social issues through their own research activities

・People who aim to proactively cross the boundaries of existing fields using a flexible perspective

・Anyone who wishes to work internationally, interdisciplinaryly, and across fields

- People who know that by giving benefits to their fellow students, they also receive benefits.

Our center evaluates these qualifications of those who wish to take the course through a document screening process.
